The Deal Card is a loyalty card for Deal & Walmer offering special deals and discounts at many independent businesses. You can obtain your starter card at multiple locations throughout the town, including businesses, the Astor Theatre, the Tourist Information, Deal library, railway station, cafés, pubs, hotels, guest-houses and many more.
What is it for?
We want to foster pride in our community, but also to make it a sustainable community that can prosper even though there are threats from online shopping, out-of-town malls and supermarkets. The Deal Card informs people about the choices they have in using independent businesses in Deal and Walmer, and rewards them for that choice.
Where can I get one?
If you’re travelling from outside town to visit Deal, you can register for a card before you travel in time for one to be posted to you. Some travel providers such as coach companies also have stocks of the paper starter cards when they’re running tours to Deal.
Where can I use my card?
You can use your card at any participating business. This includes independent businesses of all types – not just shops – who take the card. These might also include local franchises of national chains. Just look out for the Deal Card signs and offers on their premises, or ask them whether they take the card.
