Hope & Lane is a warm and welcoming, independent coffee shop serving great coffee and artisan snacks, seven days a week.
We remain open during the second lockdown for takeaways from 8.30am to 4pm Monday to Saturday and from 9am til 2pm on Sundays. Please remember to wear your mask to order and keep an appropriate distance from others waiting to be served.
Organic and delicious
Our Peruvian Tunki coffee is not only organic; because it is grown in shade at high altitude in the Andes, the beans have time to develop a rich and complex flavour, with notes of chocolate and peach. Delicious!
We also have teas, fruit infusions and soft drinks and a range of sweet and savoury options to suit different tastes and diets including vegetarian, vegan and gluten-free options.
Free plant milk alternatives
And all drinks are available with a plant-base milk at no extra charge. Choose from soya, almond, coconut and oat milk for a plant-based alternative to dairy.
Plastic free
We are completely plastic free at Hope & Lane. We’ve ditched all single-use plastic in favour of environmentally friendly alternatives.

You’ll find us on Deal High Street, tucked in between its many wonderful independent shops, opposite St. George’s, a grade II listed church of the 1700s.
