Jenkins & Son are 4th generation supplier of fish and game in Deal on the East Kent coast. Now the only wet fish shop in Deal, Jenkins & Son supply the public and trade across Kent and the South East.
Current owner Darren Jenkins started working in the shop after school at the tender age of eight. Darren follows in the footsteps of his father Steve, grandfather Charlie and great-grandfather, also named Charlie, who started the business from a cart and horse in the 1940s.
Jenkins & Son are committed to providing fresh, local, sustainable, line-caught and day-boat fish and seafood, which means it is caught and landed by fishing boats on the same day, rather than by trawlers out dredging the seabed destroying all in their path for months on end.
They source locally farmed and wild game from British countryside, and wherever possible from the Kent countryside around our hometown of Deal.
