The pair set off to Monte Carlo in their knit-covered car, bessie, along with 7 other teams on the annual Martha Trust Challenge. The pair have exceeded their 2016 fundraising total and are currently just short of £6000.

The Ripple Steam Artisan Brewery has teamed up with Deal With It to set up the Deal Hop Farm Project. Picture from EKM Deal With It, the local green community group, launched Deal Hop Farm – a community hop-growing project – in January this year. Now the voluntary group has grown to a farm of 130 sites in peoples’ gardens, allotments and community spaces, including English Heritage’s kitchen garden at Walmer Castle.
