1st and 3rd Tuesday of the month they meet at Sandown Castle, off Sandown Road, Deal at 10.30am.

2nd & 4th Tuesday they meet at North Deal Community Centre, 28 Golf Road, Deal CT14 6PY at 10.30am.

Wednesday: Deal (summer) & Kingsdown (winter)

Duration: 1hr 15min

This walk explores areas around Deal and Kingsdown via footpaths, the promenade and bridleways. Some beautiful views across the Channel on many routes.

This walk moves location for the Winter.

April to October they meet at Kingsdown Road Car Park (on the left before you reach Walmer Castle), Kingsdown Road, Walmer (near the junction with Granville Road)

November to March they meet at Deal Library, Broad Street, Deal at 1:15pm.

Thursday: Deal Pier Healthwalk

Very gentle walk on the pier for those with limited mobility. Ideal for those with long-term medical conditions and those recovering from an illness or operation.  Everyone walks at their own pace, however gentle, and there are seats along the length of the pier where people can ‘take a breather’.

Involves approximately 10 mins of walking in each direction with a tea/coffee break in the middle. Wheelchairs and mobility scooters welcome.

Run by members of Deal Strokes Club.
